Removal guide methodology and corrections
How we decide that a procedure is current, what our verification does and does not prove, and how to report a change.
Source standard
Each procedural claim must be supported by the company that operates the relevant request path. We prioritize the live request interface, the company's privacy policy, and its official support pages. Third-party guides may help identify a question to investigate, but they are not accepted as procedural evidence.
What “last verified” means
- We opened the official destination and confirmed that it remained the company's current request path.
- We compared the visible instructions with the company's current privacy policy or support material.
- We recorded prerequisites, confirmation steps, stated timing, scope, and limitations only when the company published them.
- We did not submit a request using a real person's identity. Fields that appear only after identity verification can change and are described cautiously.
Language and timing
We distinguish a company's estimate from a legal deadline or a Criminal.com guarantee. When an official source says a request “should” be processed in a particular period, our guide attributes that estimate to the company. We do not promise permanent removal, because brokers can receive new source data and some tools cover only specific search types.
