How to Opt Out of BeenVerified
Use BeenVerified's official opt-out form to locate and submit the listing you want removed. Its privacy policy also accepts requests by email or through customer support.
Start with the official site
This link goes directly to the current first-party request path. Criminal.com does not receive the information you submit there.
Open BeenVerified's official opt-out form →What to have ready
- Enough identifying information to distinguish your listing, such as your current or former name and location.
- Access to an email address if the current form asks you to confirm the request.
- A saved copy of the listing URL or screenshot, if you already found the result.
Steps
- Open BeenVerified's official opt-out form using the button above.
- Follow the current prompts to locate the result that corresponds to you. Compare the location, age, relatives, or other displayed details before selecting anything.
- Select only your own result and submit the information the official form requests.
- Complete any confirmation step shown by BeenVerified or sent to the email address you provided.
- Save the confirmation and the URL of the listing you requested to remove.
Verify the result and follow up
- Search the same name and location again after the request has had time to process.
- BeenVerified's 2025 privacy metrics report a 9-day average and 10-day median response for opt-out requests. Those historical figures are not a promise for an individual request.
- If the listing remains or the form does not work, email privacy@beenverified.com or use BeenVerified's contact form and include the listing URL.
What this request does not do
- The request controls display on BeenVerified. It does not erase the government, court, directory, or other source record from which the information may have originated.
- BeenVerified's current public policy does not state that one request suppresses every listing on every affiliated brand. Check other services separately.
- The form sits behind automated security checks and its fields can change. Follow the live form rather than relying on screenshots from older guides.
