How to Opt Out of Whitepages
Find the Whitepages profile that belongs to you, copy its URL, and submit that URL through the official suppression tool. Whitepages also offers a support form and email path.

- The full URL of the Whitepages profile that corresponds to you.
- For the automated path, a phone number and agreement to Whitepages' Terms of Service.
- If you prefer not to provide a phone number or agree to those terms, use the official customer-service form or privacyrequest@whitepages.com instead.
Steps
- Search Whitepages using your name and city or state.
- Open the result that matches your identity and copy the complete profile URL from the browser.
- Open the official suppression request and paste the profile URL into Step 1.
- Complete the remaining prompts and any identity-verification step the official tool presents.
- Save the final confirmation or reference information.
Verify the result and follow up
- Whitepages says California opt-out requests may take up to 15 days, although they are often processed sooner. This is not a universal turnaround guarantee.
- Search for the same profile again after the request is processed.
- If the listing or another related listing remains, use the customer-service form or email privacyrequest@whitepages.com with the URL.
What this request does not do
- Whitepages says removal applies to the listing and all known connected listings. A separate listing that is not connected may still need attention.
- The request removes public display on Whitepages. It does not change the underlying public record.
- Whitepages says it cannot correct information that originates from public records. It may handle a correction request as deletion when appropriate.
- No account or purchase is required for the opt-out request, according to Whitepages' current consumer-rights notice.
